This version is feminized photoperiod, meaning the plant will take more time to deliver the final product and will be overall bigger in size. However, it will also require more attention. Photoperiod plants require their lighting schedule to be adjusted to switch to the flowering phase. As this seed is feminized, it will almost certainly develop into a female plant.

This strain is mostly indica, with a genotype of 80% indica and 20% sativa. Its lineage includes Afghani indica, Thai sativa, Highland Thai Afghani hybrid, and Mexican sativa, with ancestors such as Purple Thai and Temple Flo. It belongs to the Blueberry line of strains and dates back to the late 1970s.

It can be grown indoors, outdoors, or in a greenhouse. Indoors, the flowering period ends in 8 to 10 weeks, producing approximately 450 to 550 grams per square meter. Outdoors, the plant is ready for harvest in October, yielding around 500 grams. It is of medium height. Growers have reported that this strain is easy to grow and pretty resistant to different factors. It is a large producer under optimum conditions.

The plant is dense and stout, producing buds that change colour from red to purple and finally to blue. The buds usually cure to a lavender blue and can contain around 20% THC and a moderate amount of CBD. The finished product has a fruity and sour aroma, accompanied by a blueberry taste. It produces a notable and pleasantly euphoric high of the highest quality and is long-lasting. The plant has medium to large calyxes and Original Berry has a long shelf life.
