Amnesium seed is a feminized strain, which means it will only produce female plants. It is a photoperiodic strain that requires an adjusted lighting schedule to transition from the growth to flowering phase.

Its genotype is predominantly sativa. Due to many years of crossing different varieties, pure indica or sativa are now rare.  Only two of its ancestors, Northern Lights No. 5 and Afghan Indica, are indica. This strain is almost a pure sativa, as it is derived from predominantly sativa strains such as Skunk #1, Original Haze and Super Silver Haze. It is a popular strain in the Netherlands and can be grown both indoors and outdoors.

Indoors, the plant usually grows to a height of 70-150 cm and finishes flowering in 9-10 weeks, yielding up to 550 grams per square meter. For optimal results, it is recommended to provide sufficient space. Outdoors, the plant can reach 180 cm and is ready for harvest in October, yielding 60-250 grams per plant. This sativa-dominant strain exhibits indica-like flowering characteristics, resulting in fast growth, high productivity and manageable height. The reason for this is its super-powerful indica ancestry.

It produces highly potent buds that are usually thick and covered with resin crystals containing about 23% THC and 0.80% CBD. The buds have the sweet taste and aroma characteristic of Haze varieties, but this variety is sweeter than most hybrids.
