Genetics and Origin

Desfrán® is based on the carefully stabilized genetics of the legendary Destroyer strain, developed through many years of selecting the best plants. The result is a true Sativa with high stability, rapid growth, and impressive yield potential.

The strain combines the classic appearance of tropical Sativas with a shorter flowering period, making it significantly easier to grow compared to many other strains in this genetic lineage.

Aroma and flavor

Desfrán® has a complex and rich terpene profile. The aroma is built on woody, spicy, and earthy undertones, complemented by floral nuances and vibrant notes of tropical fruits.

Depending on the phenotype, you may detect hints of:

• grapefruit;

• caramel;

• honey.

After proper drying and curing, the aroma becomes even deeper and richer, and the flavor develops a distinctive sweet-and-sour fruity aftertaste with a hint of spice.

Appearance

Desfrán® produces robust plants with long internodes and a characteristic sativa structure. During flowering, the plants can grow two to three times their original height.

The buds are long, very dense, and generously coated with resin. Many phenotypes form characteristic “foxtails,” which give the plants a striking appearance. After drying, the buds become dense and appear to be coated with a thin layer of glaze due to the large number of trichomes.

Growing Characteristics

Desfrán® is characterized by very vigorous vertical growth and requires ample space. The plant can increase significantly in size as early as the first weeks of flowering.

Thanks to its long, flexible branches, this strain is perfectly suited for the following methods:

Optimal growing conditions:

• temperature 22–28 °C;

• humidity during the vegetative stage 55–65%;

• humidity during flowering 40–50%;

• light cycle 18/6 during the vegetative stage and 12/12 during flowering.

With good lighting and adequate nutrition, the plants are capable of producing very long, heavy, and completely resin-coated buds.
