History and Genetics

Frisian Dew® was created by crossing a female Super Skunk plant with a male Purple Star. Years of selective breeding in the province of Friesland resulted in a stable hybrid with strong hybrid vigor, capable of producing impressive yields even in cool and humid climates.

The strain won first place at the Highlife Magazine Cup in 2008, and in 2018 took third place in the Dutch Hashish category at the Homegrown Cup, confirming its reputation as a strain of the highest quality.
