Original Limonade Skunk seeds are available as both feminized autoflowering and photoperiodic. The photoperiodic version, which requires light adjustments to get to the flowering phase and has a longer ripening period, is discussed here. However, such plants are usually characterized by larger size and yield.

The genotype of Original Limonade Skunk is 60% sativa and 40% indica, making it a sativa-dominant hybrid. Its main ancestors include Afghan indica, Mexican sativa and Colombian sativa, and then crossed with Skunk #1 and Pakistani indica Citral, resulting in Lemon Skunk, which was further developed to create Original Limonade Skunk.

This variety is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, although the flowering period is mainly determined by the indica. Indoors, flowering is usually complete in 7 to 8 weeks and yields 400 to 550 grams per square meter. Outdoors, the plant is ready for harvest by the end of September and yields about 550 grams (per plant). It reaches a medium height and has a symmetrical growth form. However, it is a little sensitive to root restriction and drying out, as well as overfeeding, as this variety attracts spider mites.

Original Limonade Skunk Original Limonade Skunk buds have an abundant but not excessive amount of resin and contain approximately 19% THC and medium levels of CBD. The key features of this strain are its effect and flavor. The effect strikes a balance between the energizing effects of sativa and the calming effects of indica, inducing relaxation without being overly oppressive. It offers a pleasant smoking experience throughout the day, and the flavor, reminiscent of juicy overripe lemons, enhances the overall experience.
