Genetics and characteristics of the strain

Snow Bud was created by crossing Afghani with carefully selected South African genetics. This combination has brought together the powerful resilience of Indica with the energetic nature of Sativa. Despite the predominance of Sativa traits in the plant’s behaviour, the plants retain good structure and sturdy branches, and are characterised by stable growth even under unfavourable conditions.

One of the strain’s key features is its high resistance to mould, fungal diseases and pests. The plants tolerate cool nights, temperature fluctuations and high humidity well, making Snow Bud® an excellent choice for regions with short summers or unstable weather.

Aroma and flavour

Snow Bud® possesses a vibrant and memorable terpene profile that sets it apart from most modern fruity hybrids.

The aroma harmoniously combines:

Thanks to its strong resistance, this strain copes well with adverse weather conditions and is suitable even for novice growers. Snow Bud performs particularly well outdoors, where it is able to reach its full potential even in cooler climates.

Yield

Snow Bud® delivers consistent yields both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, yields of 350–450 g/m² can be achieved, whilst outdoors yields reach 450–600 g per plant. The buds are dense, have a high resin content and an attractive appearance thanks to an abundance of white pistils.
