Genetics and Characteristics

The genetic formula of Sweet Pink Grapefruit × Orange Bud has resulted in a nearly perfectly balanced hybrid with an equal ratio of Indica to Sativa. During the vegetative stage, the plants remain compact and develop a sturdy stem with broad leaves; during the flowering stage, they begin to stretch vigorously, demonstrating the vigorous growth typical of hybrids.

Passion Fruit is distinguished by a pronounced effect of hybrid vigor (heterosis): the plants develop rapidly, tolerate various training methods well, and easily adapt to a wide range of growing conditions. The strain is ideal for SOG, SCROG, LST, topping, and other techniques that allow it to reach its full potential.

Aroma and Flavor

The main feature of Passion Fruit is its incredibly rich, fruity aroma. During flowering, the plants exude a sweet scent reminiscent of a bakery filled with tropical fruits.

The terpene profile prominently features:

• light candy-like notes.

Growing

Flowering takes only 8–9 weeks, after which the plants form large, dense buds literally covered with a thick layer of sticky resin. When growing in a greenhouse, it is recommended to ensure good ventilation due to the high density of the buds.

Indoors, plants typically reach 120–150 cm, whereas outdoors, under favorable conditions, they can grow into true giants several meters tall.

Yield

Passion Fruit fully lives up to its XXL classification. With proper cultivation techniques, yields reach 500–850 g/m² indoors and about 500–600 g per plant outdoors. The buds are highly dense, rich in trichomes, and have excellent market appeal.
